NRCAN is the abbreviation of Natural Resource Canada, and is compulsory certification.
Canada's NRCan certification is the same as energy efficiency certification in other countries. It is energy-saving certification now. Therefore, electronic products that meet energy-saving certification are more popular in the market.
What is energy efficiency? Energy efficiency certification is to control the energy use of products and improve energy efficiency. The so-called "improving energy efficiency" refers to the use of smaller energy inputs to provide the same energy services.
Natural Resources Canada is responsible for the formulation of energy efficiency regulations in the country. Canada requires that all products entering Canada must carry an energy label, and laboratories that provide certification testing must obtain its authorization.
The Canadian label is referred to as EEV Mark (energy gfficiency verification) energy efficiency identification label.
NRCan certification mode process of switching power adapter:

NRCAN certification fee and cycle:
The cost depends on the actual situation. A single low-power power supply product is about RMB 6,000; the sample preparation time is 10 days, the test cycle takes 2 weeks, and the registration cycle takes 1 week.
NRcan and ERP, DOE, CEC, etc. are all energy efficiency requirements, and the requirements are similar. However, NRcan is currently in order to control strict energy efficiency requirements. For this application, a factory inspection is required. After the application, there is a certificate and related annual fees. The application is basically based on a single model application.
